FAQ'S
Meatless beef crumbles are similar to cooked ground beef crumbles. You can use them in any recipe that calls for cooked ground beef. Here are some recipes:
One pouch of neat replaces 1 pound of ground beef in your favorite recipes.
neat Original is lightly seasoned, so feel free to add your own twist of jerk, chili, curry, or other seasonings depending on your recipe. Our spice blends are proprietary, but we are always happy to answer any specific allergy questions. Just send us a message!
We recommend using non-stick cookware when cooking with neat. You won’t find grease in the pan, as you would with ground beef, so a light coating of your cooking oil of choice in the pan is also recommended.
Unlike frozen or prepared meat replacements, neat allows you to get creative in the kitchen! Don’t be afraid to add veggies or your own ingredients to neat and create amazing recipes! We’d love for you to share your recipes with us.
Yes, neat Original is 100% vegan!
neat Original contains tree nuts (pecans) and is not made with peanuts.

Wow! Yummy! Really surprised! Read More
"Yum! Mexican mix! I tried this on a whim, as a celiac and busy professional I was looking for a quick protein/meal option. This tasted exactly like the ground beef Id make in my burritos! The texture was perfect too! Seriously surprised. :-)"

Meatball Subs! Read More
"As a meatball, this stuff is awesome! Perfection!
I love that I can completely understand the ingredients. Some of the other meat substitutes are so heavily processed that I’m not convinced they are better for you. My husband loves these as meatballs too! I tried the Mexican version as ground in a skillet and wasn’t super impressed. Hubby found it suitable though."

"I tried neat meat in casserole and it was great! It would be great as ground meat in a sauce of some type. LOVE that it does NOT have soy!"

Trying to go meatless Read More
"Tried this product just to see how it tastes and how easy it is to cook with. I’d be hard pressed to go meatless, but this product does have a good taste and texture when prepared. I was a little concerned when I poured out an almost powdery substance into a bowl, but mixing in water quickly made it look more like a burger patty. The burger I made was good and it cooked well, just need to watch it closely so it doesn’t burn. Using it as crumbles on pizza, it looked much like a meat but didn’t seem to add or detract from the taste. The calories are pretty high, 200 for a small burger (third of a cup) but if I were to go meatless this would definitely be a product I would buy consistently."
